| These meets provide opportunities
for all Affiliates to send their promising swimmers
for competitive experience and to build the base
in Singapore. They will also serve as ‘hunting
grounds’ to spot budding talent and for swimmers
(and coaches) to gauge their standards vis-à-vis the
rest of the fraternity. At the same time, these
meets open up possibilities for closer interaction
and camaraderie within the community. Some of these
meets are also used to select potential swimmers
to represent Singapore at Target, Preparatory
and/or Developmental Meets. |
