Leading the way to a new era in
Elite Aquatic Performance in
Singapore

  Introduction

The Swimming Coaches & Teachers Association of Singapore (SCTAS) was founded in 2006 by Singapore’s elite-level coaches and stakeholders.  It aims to bring Singapore’s swimming coaching and teaching capabilities onto a new plane.

In close partnership with the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) and the Singapore Swimming Association (SSA), SCTAS hopes to bring high awareness and understanding of the sport of swimming to its members.  They can expect to learn and develop skills, methodologies, and modus operandi through structured courses, dialogue, seminars, and conferences it organises.

By doing so, the SCTAS hopes to deepen and fortify its members' pool of knowledge and insights at all levels of competitive swimming.  These aspirations are not limited to the swimming pool, but goes beyond.  SCTAS will provide coaches and teachers in the aquatic industry opportunities to network and strrengthen relationships, enabling a paradigm shift from an industry entity to that of a community.
