FINA/Arena Swimming World Cup 2008
The FINA SWC returns to Singapore 1-2 November 2008 at the Singapore Sports School pool. Catch 2008 Olympic gold medallist Oussama Mellouli (TUN) 2007 series defending champs Randall Bal (USA) and Therese Alshammar (SWE), as well as our own Tao Li (SIN) in action. Heats 9:30am, Finals 5:30pm. Come support Team Singapore!

FINA Water Polo School for Referees 2008
SSA successfully hosted a regional Water Polo School for Referees at the Singapore Management University premises from 10-12 October 2008, where FINA lecturers shared on the finer aspects of technical knowledge and excellence.

FINA 10km Marathon Swimming World Cup 2008 & Singapore Open Water Swim 2008
The Men's FINA 10km MSWC saw a photo-finish by Valerio Cleri (ITA) and Daniil Serebrennikov (RUS), while 2008 Olympic gold medallist Larisa Ilchenko (RUS) was the clear winner in the Women's race. In the Singapore OW Swim (500m, 1km, 3km and 5km), over 800 young and old determined participants accomplished personal targets.
